What started out as a ride to a party with a friend on St. Patrick's Day 6 years ago ended up being the night Alex & Tom met thru their mutual friend Emilie. After not seeing each other for two months and later reconnecting at a friends house they clicked right away.
Their story started innocently enough. Erin & Casey's sister who was a co-worker were at a mutual friends Wedding when she mentioned that Erin had to meet her brother. She rolled her eyes and laughed, but said sure anyway. The next day he texted her and they went out for drinks 3 days later. Ever since Erin say's "He's my best friend and partner in crime."
I had the opportunity this past week to create alongside some beautiful minds and talented individuals. This was the first styled shoot I've attended where numerous photographers and vendors worked together to make this day happen.
Ten years ago a teenage boy who broke all the rules put a girl who couldn't possibly break any rules under a spell when they met working at Subway. For months her crush grew bigger and she told her friend Delaney who happened to be her Officiant on this very Wedding Day.
John x Christy met in College one night in a car outside a bar. Her friend was dating his roommate and John was their driver for the night. They talked and watched a little Fresh Prince but it wasn’t until a few weeks later when their mutual friends were playing matchmaker and inviting them both to attend a party. From then on they became inseparable.
The most kind hearted young man raising a little girl on his own met a young lady with a beautiful soul and together they grew into one as a family. Their faith is strong and together they radiate with love, positivity, and a open heart for all.
Kate & Eric had a romantic & elegant intimate Wedding at the 9th Street Abbey in Soulard, a downtown St. Louis, Missouri District filled with culture and 1904 World’s Fair Architecture. Nestled in the heart of Soulard is the Abbey, which converts from ceremony to reception venue and features their own caterer Patty Long, as well patio & garden that was beautiful as well as quiet for Eric & Kate’s first photos as husband & wife.

I can't say that I've ever done a session that embodied who I am as a person more than this. When Alysce came to me with the idea, and we showed each other our mood boards it was obvious we would pair well together for this project.
Kypton x Natalia are very special in our home. They were are first friends in Green Bay. Our first session with Natalia was when this little cutie below was in her belly and she had just moved her from Arizona. What started as a Maternity Session turned into a friendship for both Cole & I. We had many lunch & play dates with the boys and they became little buddies.
Cassandra is an actual real life Mermaid. You heard me right! Although that seems crazy. Keep reading to see what this really entails. Cassandra has taken it upon herself to create a community and Non-profit, Mermaids without Borders, to educate the masses on the environmental impact we have as humans, both in negative connotation and positive. She does so many different acts to serve and protect our beautiful World, one way in which she helps is by planning clean ups along our riverways here in Green Bay. So if you see this kind beauty out serving the World, please stop by and thank her for her efforts and be ready for her sweet smile and welcome hug.

This year we spent Thanksgiving at my Dad’s in his new home, a beautifully historic 1860 folk farmhouse in a small town on Lake Michigan. I already have plans to turn it into a bed & breakfast, it’s okay, I already told him I’m taking over. He seems fine with it.
Cole got a major surprise when we stepped onto the trolley and he was greeted by Mrs. Claus and she invited him to sit and chat with her while we rode around town a few times. Later we stopped into Santa’s Workshop where Santa was put back by Cole saying his big want this year was a stop sign, lol! Probably hasn’t heard that from a 5 year old before. Cole wants a stop sign for his bedroom, so everyone knows it’s his zone only. A 5 year old needing privacy, what is my life going to be when he’s 13. Please send help! We had a good long conversation with Santa, snapped a Norman Rockwell esk photo and headed back home with good cheer in our hearts and being belted out of our lungs to holiday tunes all the way home.
Every year, since before I was born my parents have taken me to the tree farm. Since we have continued this tradition with our own little family we have fallen in love with the Wisconsin pine & fir trees. This year we decided to try a new farm, one on the way to my Dad’s house that we have been eyeing all year.
